Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based strategies to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

You should be patient, compassionate, and a strong team player. Training is provided, and the role includes physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Patient and collaborative, able to work in a team.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification must be obtained within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Assist with activities requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
