Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians. As an RBT you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child. This role requires the ability to stand and assist children weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and handling of children who may weigh up to 50 pounds.
