Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions.

You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided; you may need to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Provide or participate in training to support child development.
