Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement plans designed by a supervising BCBA and collect data on client progress using clinical software.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, caregivers, and clinical leaders, aiming to create meaningful outcomes for children with ASD in Maryland. A valid RBT certification and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience: Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays.
• Reliability: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
