Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality ABA therapy at our Idaho Falls center. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision, collect progress data, and engage with families to support understanding of therapy strategies.

The role requires an Active RBT certification (or BACB 40-hour training), a high school diploma/GED, and 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB 40-hour RBT training completed
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• CPR certification before start date required
• Background check successful completion required
• Experience with autism/developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Ability to work collaboratively within a treatment team
• Desire for ongoing professional development and training
• Physically able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; able to work on-site in a center-based setting

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning
• Communicate progress with families and caregivers
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources
