Job summary

Rise Up for Autism LLC in Joliet, IL is seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children on the autism spectrum with evidence-based ABA strategies, fostering growth, independence, and success in a hands-on role.

You will provide one-on-one therapy sessions, collect and record data on client progress, collaborate closely with BCBAs and team members to adjust goals, maintain a safe and engaging environment, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and run short distances if needed for client safety.
• Previous experience in ABA, childcare, or education is a plus, but not required—we'll provide full training!

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children on the autism spectrum using evidence-based ABA strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions while building supportive and positive relationships with each client.
• Collect and record data on client progress to ensure effective treatment.
• Collaborate closely with our BCBAs and other team members to adjust goals and interventions as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and fun environment where children can thrive.
