Step Forward ABA in Illinois is seeking a registered Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA techniques. You will promote independence, social skills, and personal growth through engaging activities in home and community settings.

You’ll collaborate with behavior analysts and families to tailor plans and measure outcomes. The role requires an RBT certification, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a National Criminal Background check.
• RBT Certification required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to physically engage with children and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel and work in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using ABA techniques.
• Teach communication and social skills.
• Implement and monitor behavior plans.
• Restructure environments to support positive outcomes.
• Collect data and maintain records.
