Job summary

Rise Up for Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our Chicago team. You will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in a supportive, structured environment.

We provide paid training for the RBT exam, ongoing mentorship from experienced BCBAs, and competitive pay with raises after certification, plus a collaborative, family-centered workplace. Join us to help children reach their full potential and grow your career in ABA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and run short distances if needed for client safety.
• Previous experience in ABA, childcare, or education is a plus, but not required—we'll provide full training!

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in a fun, supportive, and structured environment.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Teach communication, social, play, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA techniques.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and the clinical team to support each child's growth and success.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with children and their families.
