Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey in Freehold, NJ, seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to support autism care through in-home, school, or clinic ABA therapy. You will implement plans under BCBA supervision and help clients develop communication and daily living skills.

Starting pay is $24.60/hr for RBTs and $22.25/hr for BTs, with final compensation based on experience, training, and education. Paid training and a clear path for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• New Jersey candidates must be 21+ with at least 1 year of experience with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct client support and deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain data quality; document session data accurately.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in meetings and training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
