Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) for part-time work in Edison, NJ. Starting hourly rates are $24.60 for RBTs and $22.25 for BTs, with final compensation based on experience, training, and education.

Paid training and a clear career path through our ABA Academy of Excellence are provided. Responsibilities include delivering ABA therapy in various settings, teaching essential skills, and tracking progress under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct client support and deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain data quality.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings.
• Support operations with administrative and clinical tasks.
