Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to provide in-home, school, or clinic ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.

Starting pay ranges from $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs, with final compensation based on experience and credentials; paid training and pathway to RBT certification are offered, including support through our ABA Academy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years old and have 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support.
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
