Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) in Freehold, NJ for part-time roles. The RBT starting rate is $24.60 per hour; BTs start at $22.25 per hour.

Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education. We offer paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement, including our ABA Academy of Excellence to prep for the RBT exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience or internships/related roles.
• Availability afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and driving record review.
• NJ candidates: 21+ years old with 1 year experience with children/healthcare/related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct client support and deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain session data accurately.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Assist with administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
