Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Lakewood, CO is hiring a Behavior Technician/RBT to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 in our clinic, following ESDM and ABA principles.

You will implement plans created by Masters-level clinicians, build strong family partnerships, and stay current with ABA therapy developments and RBT certification requirements. A reliable vehicle and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and verified by resume/application/BACB attestation for RBT
• Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a related degree (Child Development, Psychology)
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (training provided)
• Must have reliable transportation to training location and local center
• Must meet physical requirements (sit/stand, lift up to 50 lbs, mobility)
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work well on a team

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic
• Implement intervention plans crafted by Masters-level clinicians
• Foster relationships with families and update them on progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development in ABA therapy and RBT certification
