Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking an exceptional Behavior Technician to provide ABA therapy in 1:1 and small group settings under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on building language, communication, social and school readiness skills for children on the autism spectrum.

Candidates must hold or be willing to complete RBT certification, pass a competency exam within 45 days, and complete a background check. The position offers paid time off, a structured pay plan, and tuition discounts.

Qualificações

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB) or be willing to complete 40-hour training and sit for the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment.
• Background check participation is required if extended an offer.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Be able to perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and move quickly when necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document data accurately.
• Strong cultural competency and ability to stay flexible with families and children.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavior protocols in the client’s treatment plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment goals.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Support BCBA/BC in materials preparation and assessments.
