Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician for Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas to provide in-home, one-on-one ABA therapy under a BCBA supervisor.

You’ll help children develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills while recording progress in real time and collaborating with families. A 40-hour RBT certificate is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Have worked with individuals with ASD.
• Provide 1:1 care to children using ABA.
• Track progress and data accurately.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and maintain reliability.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by supervising BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills.
• Accurately track data and progress in real-time.
• Provide support in both structured settings and natural environments.
• Partner with parents to reinforce skills at home.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training.
