Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health in Southfield, MI seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 1:1 work with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement ABA-based plans, track progress, and collaborate with a supervising BCBA. Training, RBT certification, and ongoing mentoring support your growth.

We offer flexible schedules (minimum 15 hours/week), mileage reimbursement for in-home services, and a clear path to BCBA mentorship within a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• RBT certification or completion of the 40-hour coursework is required or supported.
• No prior ABA experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Mentoring and pathway to BCBA mentorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA
• Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills
• Accurately track data and progress in real-time
• Provide support in both structured settings and natural environments
• Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce skills at home
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training

• Competitive pay:$18-$23/hour, based on experience and location
