Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism in Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas. You will work 1:1 with clients, following plans developed by your supervising BCBA, and track progress in real time.

We support RBT certification and offer mileage reimbursement, a clear promotion path, and local caseloads to minimize commutes. This role emphasizes hands-on skill development and family partnership.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required or eligible; certification support provided by employer.
• 40-hour RBT coursework completion required or in-progress per 2026 requirements.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using ABA.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by supervising BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills.
• Accurately track data and progress in real time.
• Provide support in structured settings and natural environments.
• Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce skills at home.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training.
