Job summary

Akoya Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Detroit, MI. You will work 1:1 with children with autism, receiving comprehensive training and RBT certification with ongoing mentorship.

This center- and in-home role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and pathways for advancement within a supportive team focused on family-centered ABA care.

Qualifications

• Willing to undergo RBT onboarding and training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Background check will be conducted prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by supervising BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills.
• Accurately track data and progress in real-time.
• Provide support in both structured settings and natural environments.
• Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce skills at home.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training.

• Competitive pay:$18-23/hour, based on experience and location

• Flexible schedules: Choose from morning, afternoon, or early evening shifts

• Full-time and part-time roles available (minimum 15 hours/week)

• Mileage reimbursement for in-home services

What You'll Do:
