Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 and small-group ABA therapy in our Virginia center. You will implement behavior intervention plans under supervision, record data, and support families with training and progress updates.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification as issued by BACB.
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Must be able to physically perform this job, including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and moving quickly if required for safety.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Proficient with technology to record data on mobile devices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow treatment plans designed by BCBA/BC.
• Collect and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with caregiver training per treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
