Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence in Fayetteville, NC is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism. You will implement treatment plans created by a BCBA and help collect session data using our data collection system.

The role emphasizes collaboration with BCBAs, caregivers, and the clinical team to support client progress, while maintaining professional, compassionate interactions with families.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between service locations when applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriate communication with supervising clinicians.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect session data and complete documentation using our data system.
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention and safety plans.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members to support client progress.
• Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clients and families.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
