Job summary

Applied Behavior Center for Autism is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder under BCBA supervision. The role includes implementing BIPs, data collection, and coordinating with teachers and aides to support treatment plans.

The position emphasizes ongoing certification maintenance, family communication, and adherence to evidence-based practices to promote skill development and positive behavior supports.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through the BACB is required.
• Experience implementing ABA techniques is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
• Promote adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors.
• Provide direct care including communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with the BCBA, teachers, and instructional assistants on treatment progress.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate progress to families.
