Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking an internal extension to the Sales and Pricing team to assist with quoting, onboarding, and maintaining customer relationships. The role focuses on accuracy and timely execution across customer proposals and renewals.

The position requires handling multiple systems, strong Excel skills, and the ability to organize work efficiently while ensuring high attention to detail. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of multiple computer systems and programs.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot-Tables, and handling large data files.
• Detail-oriented to minimize errors.

Responsibilities

• Process customer proposals accurately and in a timely manner.
• Create and manage customer annual contract renewals.
• Ensure customer qualifications are met before quoting and onboarding new customers.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining customer information.
• Complete customer RFIs and other requirements.
• Track communications for future reference and preventative maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose

To serve as an internal extension to Marten’s sales force. Directly supporting Marten’s Sales and Pricing team in the quoting, onboarding and maintaining customers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer proposals in a timely and accurate manor.
• Create and manage customer’s annual contract renewals.
• Ensure customer qualifications are met prior to providing quotes and onboarding new customers.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining customer information.
• Complete customer Requests for Information and other various customer requirements.
• Track communications for future reference and preventative maintenance.
• Other duties assigned.

Abilities And Skills Required

• Ability to utilize and navigate through multiple computer systems and programs simultaneously
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Have highly proficient skills in Microsoft Excel – VLOOKUP’s, Pivot-Tables and working in large data files
• Have a high skill level of working quickly yet still paying attention to detail to eliminate errors
