Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc is seeking a Patient Engagement Liaison to support PKU communities, caregivers and patient advocacy groups. This field-based role connects families with resources and education while ensuring compliant, country-specific guidelines.

You will collaborate across medical, communications, commercial, legal and compliance teams; travel up to 75% domestically; base salary ranges 120k-140k with incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advocacy, or related field.
• Experience supporting people with rare diseases, their caregivers and advocacy organizations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with rare disease community and patient advocacy organizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build relationships with patients and caregivers.
• Assist with resources to remove access barriers to therapies.
• Develop patient advocacy and community relationships for marketed and development-stage products.
• Work cross-functionally with medical, communications, commercial, legal and compliance teams on guidelines.
• Connect families to Patient Advocacy Organizations and resources.
• Develop, plan and execute educational programs for patients and caregivers.
• Support Patient Advocacy Organizations through shared education and programs.
• Advocate for access to care and therapies within regulatory boundaries.
