Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team based in Glendale, AZ. This role focuses on launching a new product and achieving sales targets within a defined geography.

The TBM will develop territory plans, build professional relationships with physicians, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate therapeutic value and drive market access. Strong autonomy and a results-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Life Sciences or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent top-tier sales track record desired.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the assigned territory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations teams as needed.
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling through group presentations and other methods.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage.
• Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute company DSE and future brand strategy within your geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies.
