Job summary

Syneos Health is launching a new rare disease GI/Hepatology team. The Territory Business Manager (TBM) will drive sales in an assigned geography, while ensuring compliance and ethical practices.

You will develop territory strategies, identify customer needs, and deliver high-impact, clinically focused presentations communicating therapeutic value. You will analyze regional market data to build strategic plans, foster relationships with physicians, and collaborate with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field required.
• 7+ years pharma/biopharma sales experience.
• 3+ years GI/Hepatology or rare disease sales experience preferred.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory geography required.
• Strong autonomy, compliance, and ethical selling.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals within an assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for decision-making.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage and manage the territory budget.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute the company’s brand strategy and tactics within the area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Comply with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies.
