Job summary

Syneos Health in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a Territory Business Manager to drive sales in a rare disease GI/Hepatology portfolio. You will develop and execute territory plans, identify customer needs, and deliver high-impact, clinically focused presentations that communicate therapeutic value.

Work with cross-functional partners, manage the territory budget, and ensure regular coverage through a structured action plan. The role requires autonomy, compliance, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred
• Consistent track record of documented top-tier sales accomplishments
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory geography preferred
• Experience launching products in competitive marketplace
• Ability to learn complex scientific information, apply technical proficiency and effectively communicate
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence
• Strong technical & analytical skills including proficiency with CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency with AI
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed targeted DSE MBO and future sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customers and accounts with the goal of maximizing sales.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment in which the need for collaboration and cross-functional discipline is critical.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
