Job summary

Syneos Health in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new rare disease GI/Hepatology team. The TBM will achieve sales goals, develop territory strategies, and communicate therapeutic value through clinically focused presentations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales, 3+ years in GI/Hepatology/rare diseases, strong analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to travel as needed. A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory preferred.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Must be self-motivated with autonomy and independence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage and manage the territory budget.
