Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a Rare Disease focus in Aurora, IL. You will lead a new GI/Hepatology team, drive pull-through with clinicians, and deliver high-impact, clinically focused presentations communicating therapeutic value.

The role requires 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales, GI/Hepatology experience preferred, and strong analytical skills to develop strategic territory plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory is preferred.
• Experience launching products in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals in assigned territory by executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and plan regular coverage of the territory.
• Manage territory budget and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
