Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Territory Business Manager to launch a new rare disease GI/Hepatology team and drive sales in an assigned US territory. The TBM will develop and execute territory strategies, build relationships with targeted physicians, and collaborate across cross-functional partners to communicate therapeutic value.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of pharma sales experience, including GI/Hepatology, and a proven track record of achieving top-tier results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field (required).
• 5+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory preferred.
• Experience launching products in a competitive marketplace.
• Self-motivated with high autonomy and independence.
• Strong technical & analytical skills including CRM and MS Office; proficiency with AI.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales goals within an assigned territory by executing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top customers.
• Use data tools and next best action insights to inform strategies and decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling through group presentations and other activities.
• Plan territory coverage and manage territory budget.
• Complete all administrative tasks and adhere to company DSE and brand strategy.
