Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team in Chesapeake, VA. The TBM will develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales goals, building professional physician relationships and delivering clinically focused presentations that communicate therapeutic value.

The role requires 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with 3+ years in GI/Hepatology/rare disease preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Must be self-motivated with high autonomy and independence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales goals in the assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify key influencers and manage interactions with top target customers.
• Use data tools and next best action insights to guide business decisions and strategies.
