Job summary

Syneos Health has launched a brand-new rare disease GI/Hepatology team and seeks a Territory Business Manager to lead strategic territory plans, build physician partnerships, and deliver clinically focused value messaging across an assigned geography.

The TBM will drive end-to-end territory execution, partner with cross-functional teams, and use data-driven insights to optimize performance in a dynamic, compliant environment. Will travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the territory preferred.
• Experience launching products in a competitive marketplace.
• Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
• Must be self-motivated with a high level of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals in assigned territory with integrated territory plan.
• Establish/maintain relationships with targeted physicians to maximize opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and Operations.
• Identify key influencers and manage top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to inform strategies and decision-making.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills and formal presentations.
• Plan/organize activities for regular territory coverage and action plans.
• Manage territory budget to support sales/marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks timely.
• Execute DSE and brand strategy within the geographic area.
• Participate in training and development and maintain compliance.
