Job summary

Syneos Health is launching a dedicated rare disease GI/Hepatology team. The Territory Business Manager will drive sales within an assigned geography, develop territory plans, and build relationships with gastroenterologists and hepatologists to maximize opportunities.

The role requires a strong track record in pharma/biopharma sales, GI/Hepatology experience if possible, and the ability to communicate complex science. Travel and a high degree of autonomy are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.
5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience required.
3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory preferred.
Ability to learn complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
Must be self-motivated with high autonomy and independence.
CRM proficiency and strong analytical skills including AI tools and MS Office.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Achieve or exceed targeted sales goals in the territory by executing an integrated plan.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
Identify key influencers and manage top-target customer interactions.
Use data and insights to drive territory strategies and tactics.
