Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Specialty Development Executive, Rare Disease to join the Northern Florida area. You will sell laboratory testing services to rare disease specialists, build a robust sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and travel up to 50% to meet physicians and hospitals.

The role requires 5+ years in medical outside sales, a high school diploma, and preferably a Bachelor's degree. You will collaborate with Labcorp Clinical Sales and participate in trade shows while leveraging Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 or more years of medical outside sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of Rare disease experience and relationships with hospital systems, genetics, cardiology, neurology and/or pediatric subspecialties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell laboratory testing services to professionals in the Rare Disease space, including genetics providers, neurologists and other subspecialists.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth in the assigned territory.
• Build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
• Forecast and maintain a sales funnel in-line with a 90-day quota.
• Collaborate with Labcorp Clinical Sales counterparts and retain current book of business.
• Attend local and national trade shows and events as requested.
• Update CRM data, provide ongoing customer support and market updates.
