Job summary

Astreya is seeking a hands-on Hardware Technician to perform on-site end-user device break/fix, deployment, and lifecycle management in a fast-paced environment. You will diagnose hardware issues, image and stage devices, and manage inventories while escalating software or network problems to Tier 2.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of hardware experience, familiarity with imaging tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and flexible hours are required for critical escalations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years hands-on hardware break/fix, deployment, or desktop support experience.
• Experience with Lenovo/Dell laptops, desktops, and monitors.
• Familiarity with imaging and deployment tools like PXE.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on hardware swaps for laptops/desktops/monitors and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware-level issues (power, boot, display, docking).
• Image and stage replacement devices for deployment and refresh workflows.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory records and asset tagging.
• Log and manage tickets in the ticketing system and escalate non-hardware issues to Tier 2.
