Ohio CAT, a Caterpillar dealership, is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site rapid response for urgent equipment issues. You will diagnose, repair, and service machines in the field from a service truck, ensuring customers stay productive.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and a 2-year diesel/power equipment tech program.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience required.
• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical repair with diesel or earthmoving equipment.
• Valid drivers license required.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site field service for equipment breakdowns and urgent service needs.
• Perform fast diagnostics and temporary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct electronic and hydraulic checks.
• Use CAT diagnostic tools to analyze faults.
• Provide immediate status updates and recommendations to customers.
• Escalate major repairs to shop or field teams when needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and best practices.
