Job summary

Arizona General Hospital in Laveen is seeking an Emergency Department RN to join our fast‑paced team. You will provide rapid assessment, triage, and life‑saving interventions in critical situations, collaborating with physicians, NPs, paramedics and support staff.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, 1–2 years in ED, and AZ RN license (or Compact). BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are expected; BSN preferred, plus TNCC/CEN/ENPC preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–2 years of experience in ED.
• AZ RN license or RN license from a Compact State.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Assessment & Triage: provide comprehensive, safe nursing care with rapid assessments for emergencies.
• Emergency Interventions: organize and manage life‑saving interventions for critically ill or injured patients.
• Patient & Family Support: advocate for patients and families with clear communication during stressful times.
• Clinical Acuity & Adaptability: recognize and adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions under pressure.
