Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Arizona General Hospital in Glendale is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced, life-saving setting. You will assess, triage, and treat patients with varied acute conditions, collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure timely, evidence-based care.

Candidates must have an AZ RN license (or Compact State) and 1–2 years in ED, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• RN with graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Current AZ RN license or Compact State license.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Rapid assessment and triage of patients to prioritize intervention.
• Organize and initiate life-saving emergency interventions.
• Provide patient and family support through clear communication during stressful situations.
• Adapt to rapidly changing conditions and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.
