Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED – Emergency Department in Goodyear, Arizona. The role provides professional nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, coordinating patient care with other disciplines and supervising staff as needed.

Qualified applicants will hold a nursing degree, Arizona RN license, CPR and ACLS/PALS as applicable, and be capable of managing diverse patient populations with bedside care, safety, and goal-oriented outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D only: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator (as applicable by unit).
• Licensure: Arizona RN license; CPR; ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cath Lab/L&D: ACLS required upon orientation; PALS or ENPC within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Acts as supervisor by directing other healthcare staff as needed.
• Assesses patient needs and plans care based on nursing process.
• Implements orders and ensures appropriateness to patient status.
• Participates in hourly rounding; observes safety guidelines.
