Job summary

AZ General Hospital Laveen, part of Hello Humankindness, seeks an Emergency Services Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a 16-bed non-profit setting. You will perform assessments, skilled procedures, and care planning within an interdisciplinary team, aiming for optimal patient outcomes and ongoing professional growth.

Ideal candidates hold an AZ or Compact RN license, have 2 years of ED experience, and current AHA CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• AZ or Compact RN license required.
• Two years ED experience.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by addressing/escalating issues.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
• Recognizes, assesses, and responds promptly to changes in patient condition within established timeframes.
• Delegates safely based on patient status, potential for harm, task complexity, and team members’ competency/scope.
