Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Ramp Supervisor in Kansas City, MO. This role leads the ramp team, oversees on-the-job training, and coordinates schedules to ensure on-time performance and top-tier customer service within the Ground Handling Department.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and on-the-job training for new hires and recurrent training for existing employees in all ramp functions.
• Conduct briefing and distribution of training materials to mentors.
• Create and coordinate schedules for the ramp team.
• Provide hands-on assistance to Training Department and feedback to managers.
• Approve employees for release to duty after training completion.
• Coach and develop staff and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Supervise and monitor ramp personnel to ensure on-time performance and quality customer service.
