Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Ramp Supervisor in its Ground Handling Department. You will oversee operational activities, conduct briefs, and distribute training materials.

The role includes creating schedules and providing hands-on training assistance to the Training Department, reporting to the General Manager. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, can defuse conflicts, and is proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in ramp or airport operations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and on-the-job training for ramp staff.
• Create and coordinate staff schedules and briefs.
• Offer hands-on training support to the Training Department.
• Approve release to duty after training completion.
• Coach staff and address non-compliant behavior.
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly reports and performance.
• Ensure on-time performance and quality customer service.
