Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. seeks a Ramp Supervisor in the Ground Handling Department to oversee training and staffing in Albany. You will manage briefs, schedules, and hands-on support to ensure on-time performance and top-tier customer service, reporting to the General Manager.

The role requires strong organizational skills, conflict-resolution ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prior airline management experience and knowledge of QIK or Sabre are preferred; shifts include weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, or related field is preferred.
• Experience managing ramp/ground handling operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of QIK and Sabre systems desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and on-the-job training for ramp staff and recurrent training for existing employees.
• Conduct briefs and distribute training materials/checklists to mentors.
• Create and coordinate staff schedules.
• Provide hands-on support to Training Department and give feedback to managers.
• Approve employees for release to duty after training completion.
• Coach staff and support career development; enforce policies.
