PrimeFlight is seeking a Ramp Supervisor in Charlotte, NC to oversee ramp agents and ensure safe, efficient aircraft handling on the ground. You will coordinate baggage handling, towing, and aircraft servicing while mentoring the team and coordinating with flight crews and airport personnel for timely turnarounds.

This role requires quick decision-making, strong problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Competenze

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ramp operations or related aviation field.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ramp safety and procedures.
• Ability to use IPads/Tablets, computers and mobile devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible for required credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays (24/7 operation).

Mansioni

• Supervise ramp team operations including aircraft loading/unloading.
• Coordinate ramp activities for timely flight turnarounds.
• Train and mentor ramp staff on procedures and safety.
• Monitor compliance with airline and airport regulations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings on tasks and safety.
• Oversee baggage, cargo, and mail handling to prevent damage.
• Communicate with flight crews and ground operations.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ground support equipment.
• Enforce safety measures and hazard prevention on the ramp.
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies.
• Promote teamwork to meet schedules and service standards.
• Provide performance feedback and evaluations.
• Ensure DOT standards compliance and training updates.
• Liaise with other airport departments for coordinated operations.
• Maintain records of ramp operations and incidents.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
