Job summary

PrimeFlight is looking for a Ramp Supervisor to lead a team of ramp agents on the airport ramp. The role focuses on safe, efficient aircraft handling, baggage and cargo processes, and coordinating with flight crews to meet turnaround times.

Responsibilities include training, mentoring, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with airline and DOT regulations. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ramp operations or a related aviation field.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices).
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the ramp team operations, including aircraft loading and unloading.
• Coordinate ramp activities to ensure timely turnaround of flights.
• Train and mentor ramp team members on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor team compliance with airline and airport regulations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings to discuss daily tasks and safety focus points.
• Oversee the proper handling of baggage, cargo, and mail to prevent damage or loss.
• Manage communication between the ramp team, flight crew, and ground operations.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ground support equipment.
