Job summary

PrimeFlight is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to lead a team of ramp agents responsible for safe, on-ground aircraft handling and timely turnarounds. You will supervise loading/unloading, aircraft towing, baggage and cargo handling, and coordinate with flight crews and other airport staff to maintain service standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in ramp operations, proven supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of ramp safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ramp operations or a related aviation field.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ramp safety and operational procedures.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to access and interpret information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile devices).
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the ramp team operations, including aircraft loading and unloading
• Coordinate ramp activities to ensure timely turnaround of flights
• Train and mentor ramp team members on procedures and safety
• Monitor team compliance with airline and airport regulations
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and safety focus points
• Oversee baggage, cargo, and mail handling to prevent damage or loss
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ground support equipment
• Enforce safety measures and hazard prevention on the ramp
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies
• Maintain records of ramp operations and incidents
• Promote safety and professionalism within the team
• Liaise with other airport departments for coordinated operations
• Ensure DOT standards compliance and staff training updates
