Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a motivated Customer Service Agent in the Ground Handling Department to assist passengers, monitor boarding, operate the Jetway, and help with baggage and aircraft movement. This role requires lifting up to 70 pounds and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The successful candidate must complete the Customer Service Agent training and provide excellent service in a high-energy environment. Starting rate is $15.00/hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of training course.
• Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask.
• Previous airline experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights.
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding.
• Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors.
• Operate the Jetway.
• Load and unload baggage and cargo.
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment.
• Guide and park aircraft.
• Work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives.
