Job summary

Piedmont Airlines in Augusta, GA is seeking a Customer Service Agent in our Ground Handling Department to assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, monitor boarding systems, operate the Jetway and guide and park aircraft.

The role requires completing the Customer Service Agent training, lifting up to 70 pounds, working outside in all weather conditions, and collaborating with a team to deliver industry-leading service.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding
• Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
• Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
• Operate the Jetway
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• Work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
