Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar is seeking a BOH team member to support the kitchen manager and uphold high standards of ramen and menu item preparation. You will contribute to consistent, quality production and collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Roles require learning recipes, applying proper cooking techniques, maintaining sanitation, and following safety policies in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have some restaurant kitchen experience and be able to learn ramen prep and kitchen routines.
• Strong multitasking ability in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Able to read and follow written instructions and ask questions when needed.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness policies.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support back-of-house team to maintain efficiency, cleanliness, and dishwashing.
• Learn to prepare ramen, appetizers, and menu items per recipes and manager instructions.
• Execute proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating standards.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety policies.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate clearly with BOH and FOH team members to ensure smooth service.
