Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in nonprofit development, advancement services, gift processing, accounting, finance, donor relations, or related field.
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT strongly preferred.
• Experience with gift processing, account reconciliation, financial reporting, or donor data management.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook).
• Experience reconciling data between CRM/database and accounting/financial systems preferred.
• Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising operations, donor-restricted funds, or fund accounting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional and service-oriented with donors and colleagues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with financial and donor information.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile gifts, pledges, grants, and restricted funds while ensuring donor intent.
• Enter, maintain, track, and reconcile gift activity in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Ensure donor and gift data accuracy across Raiser's Edge NXT and accounting systems.
• Prepare financial reports, fund statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for leadership review.
• Prepare fundraising progress reports, data analyses, and dashboards to monitor performance.
• Process vendor payments, reimbursements, contracts, and other development expenditures with documentation.
• Support gift acknowledgments, donor communications, and stewardship activities.
• Assist with gift transmittals, reporting, and resolving discrepancies between Development and Finance.
• Collaborate with Development, Finance, and program teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with audits, tax reporting, and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain data integrity and donor records in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures for Development operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and data accuracy.
• Provide responsive support to internal teams, donors, and other stakeholders.
