Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to safely repair railcars using blueprints and schematics. You will weld, cut, and gouge with mechanized tools while maintaining safety standards and quality controls under supervision.

On‑the‑job training is available; candidates should be 18+, able to pass drug, physical, and background checks, and able to work in the U.S. A valid driver license or TWIC may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card may be required depending on location.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and follow blueprints or schematics to perform repairs.
• Use basic mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge as needed.
• Notify supervisors of materials or equipment required to complete tasks.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure adherence to AAR, ARS, and customer quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to complete tasks.
